Account Manager
Purpose of the Job
Initiate, develop and maintain commercial contacts with and provide support to the appointed vendor and dealers, in line with vendor agreement and sales plan, in order to realize the formulated sales objectives on lease penetration rate, new business volume and vendor profitability.

Context
- Reports to Country Sales Manager
- Operates within a wholesale/middle and small-ticket environment
- Works within the context of (regional) vendor agreement and program and is involved in structuring deals
Nature of role
Management of existing business relationships with vendor and dealer and the development of the new relationship with the potential end user. Supports vendor and dealers with existing vendor program agreement.
Knowledge and skills
- Advanced vocational level with insight and experience in the finance market and F&A experience
- Basic insight in vendor organisation structure, distribution channels and vendor agreement
- Interaction with others demands understanding, providing support and/or influencing.
- Persuasion and reasoning are mainly based on technical knowledge of leasing and understanding of agriculture market
- Prior experience in Leasing/Financial Services and account management. An extra asset is a banking or agriculture background and knowledge about the agriculture market. Also C&I will be preferred
- Master or bachelor degree: business economics or agriculture or equivalent studies.
- A minimum of 5 years professional experience, from which at least 2 years experience in a position of account management
- Preffered financial and business economics knowledge (products, marketing skills, relationship management)
- Sound experience in sales F&A and C&I (strong focus on F&A)
- A strong track record covering industrial and/or agricultural markets, SME clients, preferable within an international or regional vendor
- Fluent English with ability to prepare credit applications
- Understanding of financial environment ratios and being able to perform initial financial analyze for credit applications
- Driving license (B)
