For our client, an international bank dynamically growing in Poland, we are seeking to recruit an ambitious and experienced candidate for the position of Head of Operations. The role will cover managing both retail and corporate operational departments. The successful candidate will report directly to the Management Board.

Opis stanowiska

• Managing operations across the organization including back office, procurement, logistics, payments, electronic banking and IT
• Manage all aspects of Polish operations in order to maintain and develop company values and leading market position
• Define company development direction by setting and implementing organization's short and long term objectives and strategies
• Ensure proper local implementation of company practices and policies
• Control company budget and performance versus established objectivities and targets
• Enhance overall company culture and promote positive internal and external relations

Kogo szukamy

• University degree in finance, management or banking (post-graduate education will be an asset)
• Minimum 5 years of proven successful track-record on a similar position in a leading financial institution
• Thorough understanding of banking business processes and products
• Successful experience in leading and motivating operation teams
• Quality and customer-oriented approach
• Proven leadership skills and experience in managing complex teams
• Excellent administration, organizational, communication and public presentation skills
• Energetic personality with high orientation on people development and team building
• Self-starter with ability to set up priorities
• Excellent verbal and written command of the English and Polish languages
