Our Client is an international manufacturing company currently searching for professional and experienced individual for a Plant Manager position, responsible for general supervision of all phases of plant operations including: production, quality control, maintenance and supply chain. In addition the Plant Manager will be responsible for annual budget planning and execution. Close cooperation with the production team to increase productivity and profitability within the manufacturing operation. Job Description
- Review and approve plans for the control of planned output, budget spending, material efficiency, engineering effectiveness, and human resources
- Drive operating activities so that approved products are manufactured on schedule, within quality standards and cost objectives
- Monitor production processes and the effective use of manpower and equipment
- Annual planning process, delivering financial results for the factories and developing meaningful KPIs
- Responsibility for continuous improvement of processes and coordinate implementation of new investments
- Development of site leadership team with a collaborative approach
- Manage KPI's to ensure planned hours targets are achieved and budgets maintained
The Successful Applicant
- Higher education (Technical University)
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience
- Experience in coordinating, verifying daily operations
- Experience and understanding of budgeting/expense management
- Knowledge and practical experience in LEAN Manufacturing
- Demonstrated understanding of the principles and applications associated with manufacturing operations, inventory control and logistics
- Natural leadership attributes with a commitment to developing the performance of those around you
- Strong communication skills
- Fluency in English
