Job Description
- performing period end closing activities according to month and year end closing schedule, including investigation of potential issues, errors or deviations
- balance sheet reconciliations
- performing of required controls in accordance with legal or SOX frameworks
- registering acquisition of asset, capitalizing assets
- performing asset disposals, transfer, scrapping and retirements
- performing month end tasks for fixed assets
- posting of JE and accruals, provisions and reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts
- performing Balance Sheet accounts analysis and preparation of Balance Sheet review
- statistical reporting, National Bank reporting
- cooperation with auditors
- driving accounting process optimisations and standardisation
The Successful Applicant
- financial background; SSC environment experience is highly prefered
- 2+ years of documented experience in Accounting or audit area
- demonstrates natural communication skills and customer-oriented attitude
- excellent command of written and spoken English and French
- previously worked with SAP and MS Excel
- demonstrates strong analytical skills, is able to think critically, and shows assertive attitude
- analytically strong, really cares about the success of the business and their people and is ready to go 'the extra mile' to deliver and track the results
