Join us as a Financial Analyst.

 

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting Financial Analayst to join our Controllers team.   In this role you will be responsible for financial analysis and management reporting of the Investor Services business line. The key focus for you will be revenue consolidation and reporting, client, segment and product profitability, operating cost analysis and reporting on a BBH office and InServ Pillar level. In addition, the team is extensively involved in the preparation of periodic forecasts and budgets as well as various financial presentations that summarize and portray the broader activities of the InServ business line.

 

Some of your key responsibilities include:  

  • Develop partnerships with Service Delivery Workforce and Budget Planners in Poland to provide timely and accurate financial and decision support
  • Serve as primary Service Delivery contact for the Office of Globalization in Poland which measures the progress and benefits of the Service Delivery workforce globalization efforts
  • Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly operating expense reports and P&Ls and prepare meaningful commentary on notable items and variances
  • Support Service Delivery organization in Europe and Asia by providing variety of reports and dashboards as well as suggesting new analytical and/or technical approaches wherever appropriate
  • Cooperate with Global Controllers team and participate in periodic forecast and budget processes
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and presentations in support of both tactical and strategic initiatives
  • Prepare and process journal entries with cost and staffcount reclassification
  • Act as an agent for change by seeking continues improvement and striving for excellence within the areas of responsibility.

 

Qualifications:

  • Very good general knowledge of finance, financial reporting and cost analysis
  • Good overall IT savvy and strong Excel, PowerPoint and data management skills
  • Well organized and requiring little supervision with high attention to details and very good number literacy
  • Excellent  verbal and written skills in English
  • Minimum 3 years of proven track record working in analytical position preferably in a dynamic, international corporate environment
  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to speak and write about complex themes in a simple way
  • Strong client service skills with a strong sense of urgency
  • Finance degree
