Work location: Kraków

Job description:

Shell Kraków is currently looking for senior specialists in area of data/information management. Successful candidate will be invited to one of the following areas: External Relations team, Aviation team

Responsibilities in External Relations: 

 

  • Ensure a thorough understanding of the business needs related to the investigation.

  • Translation of data to actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Working on a raw data provided by vendors. 

  • Performing media assessments

  • Performing digital and social analysis 

  • Use your problem-solving skills to figure out which data sources to draw on.

  • Undertake analysis of (possibly multiple) data sources.

  • Communicate the learnings and insight in a way that the Business can understand and act upon.

  • Lead some of the capability building initiatives (eg webinars, workshops).

  • Build strong virtual relationships in a fast moving and demanding business environment.

  • Some travel is required (London or the Hague – estimated 3-4 times a year).


​Responsibilities in Aviation: 

  • Support set-up of regional dashboard, works with country managers to track KPIs when move out of the target range and work to identify how to bring back to, or beat, target.
  • Cost analysis and identifying opportunities for improvement, including working with the rest of Operations team, Contracting&Procurement and finance to ensure the appropriate cost classification, analysis and cost/contract opportunities

  • Support and provides input to ‘Tri-Partite’ teams to support decision making regarding in-to-plane contracts, airport concession negotiations and volume/cost 

  • Monitor and track the performance of the Continuous Improvement major projects against targets. Supports defining and continuous improvement of Standard Operating Procedures and works with Operational teams to implement at sites. Support the stimulation, monitoring, tracking and reward of ‘Just Do It’ projects.

  • Leverages digital opportunities 

  • Leading in maturity and sustainability assessments 

  • Has solid understanding of Airport Operations to translate operational reality into business opportunities, able to gather commitment from different teams to implement improvements

 

Requirements:

  • Able to demonstrate appropriate commercial skills, motivated in operational environments 

  • Track record of Continuous Improvement project delivery

  • Proven ability to create and manage effective alliances with key stakeholders to deliver through others process changes and improvement actions

  • Strong analytical skills, manage large data-sets, drive and ability to translate information into relevant insights and actions, using Excel, Sharepoint and other collaborative working tools. Capability to synthezise and manage large sets of data.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and trust

  • Able to work with different digital tools 

  • English min. C1

  • Experience of using quantitative opinion research data.

  • Excellent project management skills.

  • Experience or strong interest in coaching others and building capability within an organisation.
