Join us as a Senior Project Analyst – Custody

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting Senior Project Analyst – Custody. In this role you will report directly to Vice President. You will initiate, organize, drive, and complete projects or segments of projects that address business goals and needs. You will be responsible for gathering requirements, analyzing data, researching issues, and devising solutions for projects. Additionally, you will lead user acceptance testing, training, and implementation of new and existing applications as defined in a project or product roll out plan.

 

Some of your key responsibilities include:  

  • Identify business goals and problems in isolated business units and across the organization.
  • Perform assessment of feasible solutions and the range of problems they may solve.
  • Prepare a project plan as appropriate including the creation of a work breakdown structure, task assignments, timelines, phases, dependencies, and critical paths.
  • Work with managers to prioritize projects and to coordinate Systems personnel resources.
  • Assemble business requirements gathered by consultants from business clients and prepare business requirements documents.
  • Communicate defects to Systems with understanding of their business impact. Track delivery dates for defect fixes and update production on status.
  • Organize client workshops and meetings.
  • Lead meetings with business and systems groups on project status
  • Recognize patterns in complex information across multiple projects and identify key issues.
  • Identify gaps between production requirements and existing or proposed information systems.
  • Work with production areas to identify units for productivity improvements in workflows and procedures.
  • Work with production areas to identify areas of risk for errors and omissions.
  • Translate business requirements into systems workflows

 

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree and/or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 - 7 years of industry or project experience
  • Able to think outside the box
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Flexible and able to handle multiple priorities
  • Experience using established project management principles and methodologies.
  • Negotiation and mediation skills.
  • Strong MS office product knowledge
