Job Responsibilities:

Management duties:

  • Define career path and goals for direct reports on the PPR system and ensure all reports; follow the AWD process and deliver their tasks as per agreed SLAs;
  • Ensure direct reports develop their technical and soft skills;
  • Ensure direct reports documentation is created to the relevant standard;
  • Provide accurate estimates to PMO/PM where requested;
  • Problem Solving;
  • Ensure that specialist knowledge is kept current and is shared among team members;
  • Providing senior support on specific issues for the team;
  • Mentor direct reports in more complex tasks;
  • Managing a team of developers in an AGILE SDLC may be required.

 

Technical duties:

  • Responsible for using BPM tool (AWD) to build customer defined business processes. This development efforts requires defining and implementing AWD processes, reporting and iFAST integration;
  • Focus on BPM design using BPMN standards, development, administration, testing, implementation and support of AWD Product;
  • Training of processes and AWD as required, provide curriculum development updates, input, guidance based on experience;
  • Provide suggestions for product improvement, efficiency etc.;
  • Post production and ongoing support (maintenance of processes);
  • Obtaining appropriate sign-off;
  • Reporting of progress to Project Manager;
  • Escalation of risks and issues to Project Manager;
  • Working closely with end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction;
  • Provision of the Application Support Document;
  • Writing User Manuals, Training Material and Application Support Documents as required;
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert in systems and processes;
  • Project management of small initiatives may be required from time to time;
     

Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing the team (setting up goals, provide feedback, develop employees);
  • Excellent ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing;
  • Excellent customer relationship skills;
  • Excellent analytical skills – able to analyze and solve problems. Ability to identify, document and recommend solutions to business problems with accuracy;
  • Excellent research and information gathering skills;
  • Innovative and creative – seeks out innovative solutions and champions continuous improvement;
  • Initiative – takes independent action and goes beyond what the job or situation requires;
  • Excellent client’s focus as required to obtain business information and assist in solving problems;
