As a Senior Java Developer you will join Fund Services Technology team which supports Fund Accounting, ETF's, Fund Administration, building and maintaining tools for Business Units and building solution for external customers. You will be working on the Fund Accounting applications built using modern, lightweight java tech-stack: java 8, spring boot, AngularJS, apache, tomcat. Joining InfoNAV project you will work with Event Sourcing/CQRS architecture, writing business code and taking care of integration/unit test coverage.
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Write good quality code,
- Participate in code reviews,
- Participate in design workshops, advises on architectural decisions and design,
- Support automation: tests, deployments, monitoring,
- Creates integration and application technical design documentation, conducts peer-reviews of functional design documentation.
Key qualifications would include:
- Strong experience in core Java
- Experience with Spring (Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security) or JEE platform (CDI, JPA, EJB, JAX-RS, JAX-WS)
- Strong foundation in Object Oriented Programming and Design Patterns
- SQL – must be able to write simple to moderate complexity SQL queries
- Experience with ORM frameworks (JPA, Hibernate, OpenJPA)
- Experience with testing frameworks, one of: Spock, JUnit, TestNG, Mockito
- Web development skills – experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS, jQuery)
- Experience with WebServices (SOAP, REST)
- Automated build platforms/continuous integration experience and knowledge (Jenkins, maven, gradle)
- Knowledge of and experience with applying TDD principles in practice
- Ability to interpret and troubleshoot applications using logs (troubleshooting Java memory issues, analyzing java heap/thread dumps, troubleshooting application issues)
- Experience with Linux/Unix platforms
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
