Job purpose:

 The purpose of the role is to ensure that HEINEKEN Krakow comply with specific regulatory requirements and the employees comply with HEINEKEN Kraków internal policies, rules and outside specific regulatory requirements in order to help organization manage risk, maintain a positive reputation.

The Compliance Officer acts as an autonomous and objective body that reviews and evaluates compliance issues and concerns within HEINEKEN Kraków.

Compliance Officer has full responsibility over areas of: Code of Business Conduct, Legal, GDPR, Risk Management and is empowered to identify any trends or new compliance related risks to the business and advises the Management Team on whether we need to take any remedial action.

The Compliance Officer raises awareness in the HEINEKEN Kraków in respect of the importance of compliance and the content of the internal rules and policies but as well communicates compliance-related issues to employees across all departments. Oversees and manages compliance in areas of bribery, corruption, fraud, sanctions and conflict of interest across the organisation.

Your responsibilities would include:

 

Code of Business Conduct:
 

1. Coordination of the processes (cross function), contact with Global team, setting up the governance model.

2. Track all relevant changes and implement remedial actions in the form of amendments to policies and procedures.

3. Annual COBC trainings plan preparation and consultation as well as support in terms of attendance tracking.

4. Central policies and procedures repository maintenance and review on an annual basis.

5. Coordination and consultation in terms of HEINEKEN Kraków policies and all relevant changes.

6. Keeping up to date all COBC materials on SharePoint.

7. Communication of COBC and Compliance issues in the company.

6. In terms of Speak up: building awareness at HEINEKEN Kraków, ensuring chosen trusted representatives are fully onboarded to the role, monitoring of open cases.

9. Dawn Raid process - ensure if it is operational.

10. Close cooperation with Facility team in terms of communication campaigns in the area of responsible consumption.

11. Coordination and cooperation with other HEINEKEN Kraków teams in terms of Health and Safety, Human Rights, Discrimination and harassment and Environment.

12. Full responsibility in terms of COBC areas: Bribery, Gifts, entertainment, hospitality and donations, money laundering and sanctions, conflict of interest, fraud.

13. Privacy and data protection coordination.

14. Coordination of all activities in terms of: insider dealing, intellectual property and confidential information as well as responsible communications.
 

Legal process:
 

1. Coordination of the agreements sign off process between requestor and Legal, financial review, tracking of changes and verification of proposals.

2. Coordination and assessment of Supplier Code sign off, database maintenance and assessment preparation.

3. Review of the agreements with Global Legal Director if needed.

4. Design and implement relevant local controls, policies and procedures to ensure Compliance with applicable local laws and regulations and HEINEKEN Group rules and guidelines.

5. Coordination of POAs sign off process and data maintenance.
 

GDPR:
 

1. Full responsibility in terms of procedures, audits and organizing trainings.

2. Assessment of PIA/PEA and coordination of the process between requestor and external GDPR consultant.

3. DPA sign-off, tracking of changes as well as verifying of proposals.

4. Report and communicate all data breach.

You are The Candidate if:
  • Master degree of personal integrity with strong influencing skills and sound business judgement.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of the practical application of criminal and civil law (previous experience in Audit, Legal field - min. 4 years).
  • Experience in implementing corporate compliance programmes.
  • Very good knowledge of the relevant legislation and enforcement regimes.
  • Ability to develop a detailed understanding of the business and external risk.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness operating in complex organisational environments.
  • Proven ability to work with all levels of employees and management.
  • Good investigative skills, prepared to challenge and stand their ground.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English including presenting to large audience.
  • Excellent written and verbal English
  • Communicative knowledge of Polish is an asset
