Job description:

You will be an integral part of Lubricants Supply Chain responsible to provide payment processing support for the Logistics operations by ensuring accurate payments are provided to the suppliers. This includes working directly with suppliers in order to identify invoicing issues, process payments.

You will be working in a highly skilled team, your responsibilities will consist of:

 

  • Review monthly statements of account from suppliers and identify inconsistencies. Follow up with carrier and Shell Accounts Payable communications in order to fully understand gaps in the statement of account and process payment on time and clarify outstanding payments.

  • Execute many transactions in SAP and logistics system application including Freight Costing and identify and troubleshoot errors.

  • Support implementation of all improvement projects

  • Drive mutual improvements in work processes and coordinate with the contract holders and procurement organization when working with transportation carriers.

  • Maintain records (Logistics financial master data)

  • Sales Logistics Tariffs control and reporting supporting delivery on recovery targets

  • Provisions management

  • Ad hoc Logistics cost analysis

 

Requirements:

  • English min. B2

  • Experience in Cost management, AP or Logistics

  • Continues Improvement mindset (Lean/Six Sigma methodology will be an asset)

  • Understanding of accounting processes

  • Time Management Abilities

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (MS Access and VBA will be an asset)

  • Problem solving skills
