High level support GS EMEA Business Control Team, overseeing production of accurate timely governance papers, Management Information along with completion of various administrative tasks to support control reporting. 

The role holder will be required to have a certain standard of knowledge and understanding of each of the processes in their reporting line to be able to provide management and support to the individual work stream leaders.

 

Specific Duties:

  • Effective use of advanced reporting tool and spreading awareness about such tools amongst the team;
  • Leading implementation of innovative reporting techniques and new tools enabling making the process more efficient
  • Providing management and escalation for Central Risk Reporting Team within the areas of its responsibilities such as various risk committees meeting pack high level review, OKRI high level review and final dissemination
  • High level planning, management, governance, reporting, tracking, risk management and issue resolution for the team. 
  • Managing EMEA Central Reporting team processes  ensuring timely and accurate delivery, validation, regulatory conformance and effective control environment
  • Identifying opportunities in process and implementing efficiencies and strengthening the control environment by leveraging interlinkages between the teams
  • Working with the respective Oversight groups when any unforeseen workload swap activities need to occur
  • High level review production of formal reporting packs for key risk forums within the stipulated timelines signing off completeness and accuracy
  • Taking part in Risk Committee meetings and provide data overview is required
  • Preparing multiple high level risk data related MIs & making updates to Collaborate site as required
  • Monitoring process changes and follow them in cooperation with donor sites team.
  • Providing administrative support for control orientated processes
  • Taking part in strategic discussion and workload planning
  • Supporting a culture of effective challenge to ensure appropriate governance
  • Establish and nurture a culture of ‘Risk Excellence’ within the team, encourage an environment of openness that welcomes effective challenge and supports open discussion

 

Specific Qualifications/Skills:

  • Analytical skills, ability to prepare concise data analysis, risk/resiliency related analysis
  • Ability to communicate in the effective and professional way with senior management stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of operational  controls
  • Strong Operational Risk Management knowledge
  • Understanding of SSC controls framework and associated risks
  • Understanding of basic data science techniques,
  • Understanding of advanced reporting tools is (Tableau, Power BI, SQL);
  • Excellent English
  • 5+ years’ experience in a business environment (preferred)
  • Previous analytical/regulatory experience is a strong asset
