• 3+ years of experience in cost accounting, General Ledger, accounting practice, audit
• Major/Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance, or other field accompanied by appropriate accounting trainings and relevant experience (Chief Accountant qualifications, accounting bodies  membership or working towards like ACCA,CIMA,CPA, Chamber of Audit)
• Knowledge and understanding of accountancy and financial processes,
• Excellent command of written and spoken English is essential,
• Knowledge of SAP is a strong advantage,
• Advanced Excel user,ability to analyze large volumes of data (functions Pivot tables etc.)
• Experience in audit process, financial statements preparation
• Knowledge of Polish accounting rules is an advantage

• Performing monthly closing activities in statutory books of EU companies,
• Preparation of Tax reports, submit VAT declaration to appropriate Tax Office,
• Ensuring general ledgers and subsidiary accounts for multiple entities are prepared in accordance with applicable accounting standards,
• Performing periodic controls of posted transactions,
• Posting and releasing accruals and prepayments, ensure their correct levels,
• Asset accounting, depreciation posting, revaluation,
• Preparation and record journal entries,
• Performing intercompany re-invoicing in statutory books,
• Calculating intercompany charges (Service charge, Royalties) to multiple European entities,
• Cooperating with chief accountant to support information needs of external auditors,
• Cooperating closely with chief accountants from CE Region,
• Cooperating closely with other Finance teams (Treasury, AR, AP) to support financial operations of entities in scope,
• Independently performing process activities based on received guidelines and internal policies,
• Operating within the predefined company's standards for communication and customer service,
• Working with the company’s internal systems and SAP,
• Providing feedback/suggestions to improve existing processes and update procedures.
