Responsibilities:

  • Substantive supervision of processes in scope; support in effective tasks distribution among team
  • Team workflow coordination with Team Leader and Tech SAs assistance
  • First point of contact regarding any operational subjects
  • Assistance in resolutions of issues/ad hoc queries occurring on daily basis; explaining background and nature of the processes when needed
  • Ownership for top quality and timeliness results delivery; in case of issues, leading on rootcasue review and identification of mitigation steps;
  • Identification of internal training needs/knowledge gaps and running cross-trainings to ensure process continuity and top quality deliverables
  • Coordination of process flow set-up and implementation & overall process change management execution incl. designing/drafting substantial input to get presented to Oversight/Cooperating Parties/Clients
  • Full involvement in continues processes improvement initiatives, consistent support in efficiencies creation
  • Coordinating on new due diligence requests and managing the transitions, towards agreed Go Live dates, support in securing all formal requirements fulfilled/documentation archived for any future reviews
  • Support in coordination  on external audit, compliance, risk and regulatory reporting requests
  • Support with talent management and hiring

 
 
Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the financial services industry; asset management, fund accounting, controlling
  • Demonstrate and understanding of fund expenses (fees: purchase, redemption, audit, legal & other expenses), total expense ratio production, accruals set up and true-ups, client invoice/rebilling, budget, new fund class set up implications/new Fund launches
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex fund accounting cases and use analytical skills to resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Ability to identify gaps in the processes and introduce necessary controls
  • Ability to thrive and function in a deadline driven environment, juggle tasks and responsibilities within peak times
  • Ability to escalate and recommend solutions
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook & Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills, highly effective communication and organization skills
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented
