Job Description
- Leading a team of General Ledger Accountants
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, relevant accounting requirements, internal controls
- Managing processes including General Ledger and Financial Reporting
- Ensuring timely and accurate processing of all GL transactions
- Providing technical support to team members as required
- Providing accounting technical guidance and assistance across the defined region and business regarding IFRS and local GAAP.
- Monitoring and developing teamwork through regular planning, communication and performance reviews (KPI/SLA),
- Identifying, implementing improvements in the General Ledger process,
- Closely cooperating with Internal clients, Other SSC Teams and support functions,
- Supporting internal and external audits,
- Creating an environment based on trust, open communication, creative thinking
The Successful Applicant
- Advanced English knowledge
- Sound understanding of accounting principles is a must
- Experience as a Team Leader min 2 years in financial business environment is a must
- Good MS Excel skills
- Ability to work within tight operational deadlines and priorities
- Analytical skills
- Cooperation skills oriented on result and customer needs
