Job Description
- Responsible for the full entity accounting in accordance with generally binding regulations (PAS and IAS)
- Maintains accounting books, analyses and reconciles accounts
- Ensures timely and accurately preparation of financial statements, period end close
- Responsible for timely and accurately preparation of tax filings (CIT, VAT, PIT, ZUS) and statistical reporting (GUS, NBP, other)
- Responsible for the timely implementation of regulatory changes
- Regularly (monthly) checks the correctness of billing
- Makes recommendations to improve accounting processes
- Leads, develops and mentors accounting and payroll teams
- Supports Finance Director in Group (internal) reporting
- Is an active member of the finance management team
- Prepares ad hoc accounting analysis as required
The Successful Applicant
- University degree in accounting or finance
- MF license of keeping the accounting books or equivalent professional qualification
- Excellent knowledge of PAR, IAS/IFRS and tax regulations
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as chief accountant, preferably in manufacturing environment with ERP class systems. AX Dynamics experience will be a plus
- Experience in process and procedures improvement
- Person of integrity, reliable, self-driven, proactive, high communication skills
- Proven experience in managing and developing teams
- Fluent communications skills in English
- Ability to work within a multicultural environment with multiple stakeholders
