VAT EU and Compliance Senior Process Specialist with German
Who are we looking for?
- At least 6 years of accounting related experience or in Financial Control
- SAP experience is a requirement;
- Knowledge of accounting and auditing principles and practices, including GAAP and statutory accounting
- Fluency in English and German
- Experience in Financial control or USGAAP knowledge would be a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive and diligent in self-review of deliverables
- Sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure
- Creative mindset
- Adaptable, flexible and easy adjusting to changes
- Very good time and task management
What will you do?
Work independently according to EU regulations and take full responsibility for:
- EU - Calculate VAT / EC Sales / Intrastat
- EU - Prepare VAT, EC Sales, Intrastat returns
- EU - Submit VAT, EC Sales, Intrastat
- Prepare Estimated Tax Payments (Monthly, Quarterly and Annually)
- Approve payments
- EU - Claim and collect VAT accounts receivable
- Perform all tax reconciliations
