Job Description
- Managing internal & external logistic processes of the plant
- Optimising Storage of Inventory
- Prioritising operational & financial tasks to deliver targeted objectives
- Monitoring the state of materials in SAP, internal logistics and Kanban
- Cooperating in the implementation of the agreed quality objectives
- Working in accordance with the requirements of ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 14001
- Continuous improvement of task-specific processes
- Maintaining and complying with the quality and environmental policy of the company,
- Knowledge of Labour Law, health and safety / fire / environmental regulations with regard to his/her function
- Apply procedures and instructions in accordance with integrated quality management systems in the Company
- Provide proper motivation toward achieving a suitable level of employee satisfaction, involvement and relationship with the company, and high work performance
- Driving strategy and improvement projects in logistic area
The Successful Applicant
- University degree in Logistics or equivalent
- Manufacturing / logistics background preferably in automotive sector
- Very good English or German language skills
- Verbally and written communication, including report writing skills
- Must possess advanced problem solving skills, with attention to detail
- Strong communication, presentation, decision making and negotiation skills
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of national and international transportation regulation, standards, and compliance
- Ability to manage teams of people
- Practiced working knowledge of Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques
- Experience building business strategies to achieve short and long-term goals
- Knowledge of IATF 16949:2009, VDA6.1/ 6.3, QS9000, ISO 9001:2008
