Job Description
- You will be required to become a primary contact for key accounts and engage new business opportunities as required and deliver value and high level service to the entire customer base Ensure contracts are optimally structured, managed and populated to increase operational efficiency
- Evaluate the level of risk in the contracts, renegotiate clauses exposing company to risk and alert management in case of need
- Negotiate the contracts' renewing
- Follow financial performance & execution of budget, ensure appropriate tariffs
- Prepare defensive and cost reduction projects as well as continuous improvement actions
- Control that service level matches contractual commitment & customer's expectations
- Define & monitor action plans targeted to increase service level agreement
- Lead key projects connected with the customer
- Handle transversal projects within the company locally or internationally
- Pilot the certification projects of the sites with the Quality program of client and/or ID Logistics
- You will be required to ensure commercial and partnership development - pilot customer survey and regular meetings with clients, present concert successful business cases, coordinate internal synergy of resources
- You will develop strong market knowledge of existing and potential clients, and keep your employer informed of business growth opportunities
- Ensure an efficient communication between customer and IDL departments, and amongst several sites if needed
The Successful Applicant
- Preferably a degree qualification in related fields; business, sales, marketing, logistics etc.
- Minimum 5 years of previous experience in logistics services - most preferred warehousing background
- Both legal and cost analysis knowledge
- A results oriented mindset and previous experience developing excellence through sales professionals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
- Ability to handle projects simultaneously and independently
- Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus (German or French)
