Senior Buyer
Who are we looking for?
- Experience in procurement is a must;
- Good decision making skills;
- Negotiation skills;
- Very good spoken and written skills in English language;
- SAP and Ariba tools knowledge will be an asset;
- Good computer literacy, easily learns new applications;
- Ability to work late shifts (till 10.00pm) 2/3 days a week.
What will you do?
- Receives and reviews purchase requisition for completion
- Prepares detailed bid specifications, requests for quotations for commodities and services, requests for proposals for commodities and services
- Performs bidding with international suppliers to negotiate most competitive offer
- Evaluates bids, awards contracts and purchase orders
- Identifies varied sources of commodities and services
- Maintains contact with key vendors
- Releases completed requisitions for approval
- Initiates new vendor set-up requests
- Transmits POs to suppliers and manages order confirmation
- Expedites delivery when needed/requested
