We are is seeking a Transfer Pricing Senior Analyst whose responsibilities would include all relevant matters pertaining to our Client’s US and non-US/OECD transfer pricing compliance/documentation, planning and operations activity. The role will require regular contact with accounting, treasury, finance and other personnel across the Company worldwide. The individual will be part of an international tax team and it will be necessary to exercise initiative and project management skills in connection with tax compliance and planning projects.

Responsibilities:
  • US and OECD transfer pricing assistance regarding monitoring, assessment and updating of PerkinElmer’s relevant transfer pricing policies to ensure consistency with the “arm’s length principle” including but not limited to:
    • conducting regular economic analyses pursuant to the reparation of transfer pricing reports, including responsibility for data-gathering;
    • preparing relevant transfer pricing documentation/compliance reports (local files, and master file consistent with the OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines (2017) and US documentation requirements) and comparability/benchmarking analysis; and
    • analyzing business value chains to establish the most appropriate transfer pricing policy,
  • demonstrate proficiency in gathering and validating financial / “tested party” data from HFM & SAP and preparing increasingly complex Excel-based transfer pricing models with tax/transfer pricing technical analysis and insight,
  • demonstrate ability to leverage and manipulate/develop Excel based tools to appropriately analyze large amounts of complex transaction data to elicit trends within given data sets that may be used to inform PerkinElmer’s transfer pricing policies,
  • demonstrate ability to leverage research tools such as RIA Checkpoint, and research technical transfer pricing topics and positions, and relay relevant information in organized and concise manner,
  • support transfer pricing components of the US international income tax provision,
  • facilitate responding to Information Document Requests as part of US and non-US tax/transfer pricing audits and provide analysis to support transfer pricing positions on audit, as needed.
Requirements:
  • minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar position,
  • working knowledge of transfer pricing concepts (methods, and application) and the “arm’s length principle” per OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines,
  • wide understanding of theory to ascertain potential tax ramifications of business transactions and associated intercompany transactions a plus,
  • experience with HFM, SAP, OneSource (OTP/OIT), and/or Tableau, Spotfire, Alteryx or other data analytics tools/software is a plus,
  • fluent in English,
  • relevant University degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting/Economics or equivalent education,
  • part-qualified ACCA/CIMA will be an advantage,
  • eagerness to learn new things,
  • good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team,
  • continually seeks ways to improve individual/team efficiency,
  • self-starter with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and take ownership of projects, performing job requirements independently with appropriate oversight and strong attention to detail.
