Job Description
- Provide expertise within the SAP MM and SCM modules and its integration with other SAP modules and legacy systems
- Act as a subject matter expert for any process in MM and SCM areas
- Work closely with Business functions to plan, align priorities, implement and provide regular status updates
- Identify, analyze and propose improvement areas and opportunities in the supported processes and solutions
- Support Business and IT members on transferring the knowledge of implemented functionality
- Ensure the knowledge and the functionality being implemented is well documented
- Align with SCM Team Lead on the design and implementation of the solution, provide regular status updates, align priorities and capacity
- Manage full lifecycle implementation projects or subprojects within budget, time line, scope and quality
- Ensure project methodology and quality standards are applied
- Management of external resources within the project
- Handle change requests from the business according to Group Change Management process
- Propose changes that will represent a potential improvement to the business
- Training of key users on the processes and applications
- Handling of support tickets. Handle day to day production issues related to SAP MM and SCM
- Provide and supervise documentation
- Application support for infrastructure changes and application upgrades
- Proactively drive process standardization and reduction of complexity within the application landscape and business processes
- Following Nobel Biocare SOPs to maintain regulatory compliance and system / process validation
- Drive innovation within the application landscape and processes (simpler, better, more efficient)
The Successful Applicant
- University degree or equiv. diploma
- At least 5 year's experience in SAP configuration and implementation in SAP Materials Management and Logistic modules
- Good communication skills and experience of working in multicultural global IT environment
- Able to work in a dynamic environment and encouraged to take new challenges
- Deep technical IT knowledge of supported Business applications and process flows
- Fluent in English (German is a plus)
- Proven deep technical IT knowledge in the following SAP MM and Supply Chain modules: Purchasing (PUR), Materials Requirement Planning (MRP), Batch Management (LO-BM), Inventory Management (MM-IM) and Warehouse Management (MM-WM)
- Strong SAP MM and Logistic knowledge especially in the areas of Intercompany flows, stock transfer orders, vendor returns, subcontracting
- Excellent knowledge in the core processes and best practice for the areas of MM and Logistic
- Good knowledge of integration with other SAP modules (QM/ FI/ SD/PP)
- Designed SAP Console application running on RF devices
- Strong knowledge of interfaces between SAP and other external applications
- Understand ABAP language and programs (BADI/BAPI, user-exits, Sapscript)
- Data upload using LSMW, BDCs and upload programs
- Proven experience of system configuration and implementation of SAP MM and SCM modules
- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
