Job Description
- Daily, weekly and monthly reporting to stakeholders and management
- Data analysis on process metrics and KPIs
- Provides ad-hoc reports such as daily and weekly collection and cash target
- Responsible for intercompany activities as part of month end closing cycle - IC statements, intercompany balance follow up
- Responsible for revenue recognition and other adjustments
- Performs month, quarter and year close activities for order to cash processes
- Performs Accounts receivable reconciliations
- Is the nominated Sox champion for the shared service center
- Cash management - including liaison with cash management team, posting of cheques from customers, follow up of unallocated cash with collections team
- Acts as financial analyst for the department and support management with budgeting and forecasting for the team
- Manages departmental spend, support management with purchase requisitions and purchase invoice process for the team
- Provides support and coordinate data collection when required in case of Audits
The Successful Applicant
- 2+ years' experience in similar finance and accounting role in a multinational corporate environment
- University degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent field
- Credit collection or further accounting qualification desirable
- Audit experience desirable
- Knowledge of Sox control framework and testing
- Strong computer skills (MS Office - strong Excel, knowledge of Oracle/SAP)
- Fluent English - both written and spoken
- Other European language skills at intermediate level - nice to have
- Knowledge for US GAAP and Local GAAP
- Knowledge of credit collections process and use of collection automation tools desirable
- Collaborative and team orientated approach
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Experience with KPI driven organisations and decision making
- Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment with competing priorities
