Job Description
- Control and supervise of accounting department,
- Closing month responsibilities, report accounting figures to MD and Group,
- Financial statements preparation and reporting to the Group in line with IFRS,
- Responsible for timely Tax declaration preparation (cooperation with tax advisor if needed) and keep updating the latest regulation in Poland and EU,
- Participation in monthly reporting according to Group standards that are in line with IFRS,
- Provide strong support in tax optimization policy,
- Statutory reporting as well as preparation of financial reports,
- Cooperation with external institution (GUS, Auditors, NBP),
- Continuously improve upon financial and accounting systems and processes,
- Prepare and maintain budget and forecast bridges, long term, yearly and quarterly,
- Challenge the business performance against targets (budget, forecast, long term plan), Company representation against auditors and administrative bodies,
- Perform monthly P&L business reviews and provide high quality analysis and commentary for variances,
The Successful Applicant
- Total experience of min. 5 years including on similar position. Ideally experience in accounting (supervise, control) and in addition also controlling duties,
- Strong accounting and financial reporting background, IFRS knowledge,
- Trade industry experience will be great asset, experience with export and import matters,
- Strong focus on systems and operational reporting is a major requirement,
- Very good understanding of accounting matters,
- Very good command of English working on daily basis,
- The candidate should be energetic, enthusiastic, proactive and reliable, self-starter, should be able to deliver tasks independently however based on information gathered by cooperation with other team members,
- Multitasking attitude and able to understand that this is start-up structures and huge possibilities to grow,
- Ready to work under time constraints,
- High levels of personal credibility and approach ability and adopts an open and charismatic style,
