Project Management Practice Leader
The role of PM Practice Leader in PwC IT Services will report directly to the Head of Delivery and will undertake the following responsibilities:

Implement PM Standard that will ensure the quality project management with adequate measures

Constantly provide support and coaching for PMs on the art of project management

Develop the Continuous Improvements system for PM area that will excel PM ways of working based on lessons learnt

Ensure an informative project monitoring process with timely and qualitative reporting to Management Board on KPIs, risks and resolving solutions

Drive the projects initiation phase and ensure projects are set up for successful delivery

Being accountable for project delivery

Act as escalation point inside the PwC IT Services as well as for PwC Engagement Partners

Manage team of Project Managers: scale the team’s capacity appropriate to business demand, ensure knowledge and experience sharing among PM team members, plan and execute the skill set development aligned with demand roadmap, act as line manager

Participate in Business Development activities within PwC and in front of PwC Clients

Actively promote the PwC IT Services PM Standard among PwC firms
The successful candidate will require the following skills and experience:
-
15+ years’ experience of IT project delivery, including 10+ years’ experience of IT project management with experience in complex global programmes and including leading international teams with UK team members

Proven track record in defining, implementing and executing the standardised ways of working in project management area

Hands On approach to Project Management, both waterfall and agile and outstanding risk management capabilities

The passion to continuously develop self and others in a systematized way
-
The ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
-
The ability to form, lead and engage teams of people with diverse skill sets
-
The ability to solve problems and resolve disputes in an inclusive and amicable fashion
-
Outstanding communication skills including excellent oral and written English language skills
-
Readiness to travel (about 10%)
