Senior Technology Sales Manager
About the role
As a Senior Manager, you will work as part of a growing Financial Crime Technology leadership team to help drive critical sales activities of our anti-crime product portfolio. You will be experienced and knowledgeable about the points where financial regulations and technology meet and be well acquainted with the RegTech and FinTech space.
The job responsibilities align well to that of an experienced senior technology sales professional with a significant, international track record of driving revenue and increasing client base in the financial services industry.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Overseeing the entire sales process from prospecting to closing of opportunities with main focus on large international clients Managing and growing strategic relationships and analyzing customer’s business situation to identify constraints and new opportunities due to technological advances

Maintaining ongoing dialogue with key clients and bringing to them fresh ideas that deepens their existing relationship with our firm

Achieving portfolio revenue growth targets via building a robust pipeline and spearheading deal origination

Working closely with senior leadership, R&D, delivery, and product management to address, define and develop our applications and solutions

Creating and maintaining a high-level presence and a network of relationships to facilitate sales

Providing detailed product information and updates to key customers and keeping them informed of new products and features
-
Partnering directly with clients to launch high-profile, time-sensitive projects and deals pertinent to furthering strong business relationships

Maintaining accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports
-
Developing and maintaining product and related market expertise, and working closely with the marketing team to execute relevant campaigns to targeted audiences

Preparing presentation materials for product launches, conferences, demos and customer meetings

Initiating and supporting, developing and monitoring purchasing agreements

Negotiating sales agreements that may require in-depth technical specifications and conditions
-
Gathering, monitoring and evaluating market and competitive information that impact on sales and marketing activities and providing feedback to the leadership team as required

Identifying key trends and driving necessary improvements in sales and product to capitalize on new opportunities
Essential Criteria

Minimum 6+ years of technology (product/solutions) sales experience in the financial services industry
-
Background in complex solution-sales approach - “consultative selling”

Demonstrated experience and expertise selling technology solutions to senior business and IT decision makers by reinforcing the value of the technology to the customer’s overall business pain and/or strategic opportunities

High level of technical knowledge is essential, must have technical knowledge adequate to communicate with MD-level executives as well as technical subject matter experts

Fluency in English is essential (both verbally and written)

Forward looking strategic thinker with good judgment and a practical understanding of client / sales dynamics

Demonstrated project management skills and ability to coordinate multiple simultaneous projects and stakeholders

Creative, innovative, high energy with strong initiative

Must be a team player but be able to work on their own initiative and with minimal supervision

Leadership skills, particularly as they relate to managing strategic issues such as revenue growth, competitive challenges and relevant financial crime technology trends

Excellent planning and organizational skills, analytical and accurate, and ability to maintain proper systems for all documentation and materials

Strong understanding of the ever changing competitive landscape and working with teams for strategies to compete and win

Experienced in working in an international matrixed organization

Proven track record of driving operational excellence and impact/influence across a broad geography
