Job Description
- Participation in IFRS 17 implementation
- Active support in process improvement projects for the accounting team (new system implementation, new reporting tool)
- Running process optimization, automation and improvements activities of accounting and reporting processes
- Ensuring internal control processes are followed
- Preparing financial statements
- Supporting consolidation process
- Verifying and analyzing management information
- Ensuring complete, accurate and timely insurance accounting deliverables in accordance with pertinent accounting guidance and state and federal regulation
The Successful Applicant
- Higher education in Finance and Accounting or similar
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the similar position in the insurance sector
- Solid knowledge of IFRS and insurance industry
- Advance MS Excel, VBA
- Fluent English
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Understanding of project management methodologies
- Excellent prioritization skills
