The Technology Specialist is part of Product team – Cloud & Hosting. Product Teams are structured and empowered by the organization to organize and manage their own work. The resulting synergy optimizes the Product Team’s overall efficiency and effectiveness.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Ensuring consistency of the overall product and is together with other team members end-to-end responsible to deliver the value of a single Product through the entire Product life cycle.
• Working with and supports the Product Owner to understand, facilitate the gathering, definition and prioritization of requirements working towards delivering the strategic goal of the product.
• Participating in the selection of new technologies, manages the quality of the solution and technical debt.
• Providing guidance and coaching to other product team members on changes throughout the design process.
• Identifying potential bottlenecks and their underlying causes that affect the product and proposes how to resolve these.
• Maintaining awareness of emerging technologies, industry trends, and architecture best practices; and evaluate them for applicability.
• Keeping up with relevant developments in the Cloud & Hosting area and ensures development, transfer and retention of knowledge.
• Reducing complexity of the work that has to be done. Looking at the strategy of our Cloud & Hosting product’s features with business stakeholders and further eliciting requirements, proposed improvements and deliver deployments.
• Driving support, maintenance, continuous improvement through Partners and/or Service management. Ensuring optimum performance, availability, and security in accordance with security standards and policy.

You are a good Candidate if:

• You have Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunictions, Electronics or other related studies,
• You have background in server infrastructure, patching and backup management (System Administrator)
• You have background and experience with classic, modern and web hosting

• You have basic understanding of (the role of infrastructure in relation to) modern Application Lifecycle Management (Release Pipelines, CI/CD), ‘Infrastructure as Code’ concepts and related Service Management (ITIL v4)
• You have deep technical understanding of Public Cloud compute, storage, database, virtualization services and underlying technologies (e.g. Azure, AWS, VMWare, Kubernetes) with a strong preference for Azure
• Preferably you have hands on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure services
• Preferably you have hands on experience with orchestration through Cloud Management Platform solutions (e.g. Terraform , Scalr, Service Now) and other Infrastructure as Code solutions
• You have experience in participating in creating architectures or solutions for hosting various applications and workloads
• You have Agile Mind-set
