This role is both detail oriented and strategic, requiring comprehensive reviews of specific parts of the business based on any given audit scope and reporting on matters that are relevant to management, executives, Board members, and our external auditor. 

Through consultative services and a risk-based prioritization of assurance work, Internal Audit is a value-add function that supports management in driving compliance, ethics, and proactive risk management.  
 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead audits from the planning phase through reporting and monitoring of corrective actions
  • Perform risk assessment for audit areas and effectively communicate and elevate concerns to management
  • Contribute to Internal Audit team initiatives and transformation activities
  • Participate, as needed, in audits, investigations, and Sarbanes-Oxley testing to help fulfil the responsibilities of the Internal Audit team. 


Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years of professional work experience
  • 2+ years of audit experience
  • Degree in Accounting/Business or another relevant field
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal formats with the ability to tailor messaging appropriately for different audiences
  • Experience in performing multiple projects, working with diverse teams, across geographic locations, reporting lines and cultures
  • Ability to make objective judgements
  • Ability to follow through on commitments and hold others accountable 
  • Ability to balance competing requests and interests of multiple stakeholders
  • Keen interest in detailed work.
