Junior/ Mid UX/UI Designer - PwC Data Analytics

You will join the team of our product design, business intelligence and data science experts who are responsible for the development of cutting edge digital solutions. Working with clients across multiple industries and geographies, you will help our project teams design and develop the interface of our analytic products and applications, bridging the gap between business insights and data science.

The role:

• Collaborate with PwC engagement management and client teams to define desired visual experience and interactive features for the target tools and other visual assets in the engagement portfolio;

• Conceptualize and develop storyboards, diagrams, wireframes and interactive prototypes that effectively convey target design; 

• Work closely with engagement team to deliver on various design and development stages from concept to final hand-off to development;

• Present and rationalize design decisions and milestone deliverables to peers, engagement management and client stakeholders;

• Establish, apply and promote UI design guidelines, best practices and standards;

• Work with the engagement team to re-imagine and deliver an enhanced visual experience of existing visual assets (incl. static reports and presentations);

• Translate business concepts and quantitative insights into designs of data visualizations, conceptual diagrams and other means of information display.

Candidate’s profile: 

• 1-3 years of professional experience in product design, UX design or graphic design ideally a hands on experience designing business applications;

• Proficiency in at least one of the leading design and prototyping programs (Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, Axure etc.);

• Solid knowledge of data visualization and information design best practices coupled with exceptional care for detail, clarity and aesthetics;

• Excellent command of English essential to working on international engagements;

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills essential to daily coordination with  stakeholders of diverse backgrounds (business, creative, technical).

Additional assets:

• Experience working in a consulting space or in a similar client-facing, fast moving environment;

• Experience conducting design workshops, stakeholder interviews or business requirements gathering sessions;

• Background or familiarity with Business Intelligence software (Tableau, Power BI);

• Knowledge of front-end programming basics (HTML, React, JavaScript).
