PwC Custom Solutions practice is a team of experienced professionals – Software Programmers, Solution Architects and UX / UI Designers. Senior Guidewire Developer

Job Description:

• Development, testing and maintenance of components built on the Guidewire platform

• Analysis of business needs and creation of technical documentation

• Cooperation with analysts and architects on refining the design assumptions

• Responsibility for the implementation of entrusted project tasks

Requirements:

• Experience in developing / configuration of one of the Guidewire core modules: Claim Center or Policy Center or Billing Center

• Hands on experience with Java, REST/SOAP Web Services and Git

• Knowledge of JMS, Spring Framework, Hibernate would be a strong benefit

• Knowledge of WebSphere / WebLogic / Apache Tomcat

• Knowledge of RDBMS: Oracle Enterprise / Microsoft SQL Server

• Knowledge of tools for building and testing software

• Knowledge of design patterns and practical ability to apply them in a correct way

• Ability to create and read technical documentation

• Ability to think analytically and work in an Agile environment

• Planning and organizational skills

• Ability to manage a team of programmers

• Availability and mobility for implementing Guidewire projects in Poland as well as abroad (proportions to be determined)

• Very good command of English at a level that allows communication with clients and other members of the project team
