In this position, you will aid the organization by compiling and analyzing metrics for performance versus budgets and forecasts, while identifying trends and problems, communicating information to relevant groups, and recommending actions to improve financial performance.

Reporting to the Controlling & Planning Team Leader you will benchmark KPIs with peers and work with management to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance and to identify trends.

Your responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation of financial reporting, business planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Validating the accuracy of financial data, business information and reports by performing reconciliations and reviews of exceptions
• Providing information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, and making presentations
• Supporting Lead Business Controllers and communicating with local organizations and controllers to ensure ELGM reporting policy compliance
• Verifying the correctness of reported ELGM financials in ABACUS
• Participating in closing activities and development of ELGM Reporting

Your background

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Controlling and/or FP&A
• Bachelor Degree in Finance and Accounting or Business administration.
• Good knowledge of Excel, SAP and ABACUS
• Fluency in English – written & spoken
• Soft skills: analytical, paying attention to details, good communication skills
• Diligence, high sense of ownership
• Time management and ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to propose improvements in processes
