Join us as a Java Developer

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently looking for talented Java Developer to join our Investment Operations Systems organization in Krakow who is looking to grow technical and software development skills. This position is primarily responsible for contributing to iterative growth of business critical applications for Middle Office space and Infomediary messaging platform using the latest Java and Web technologies.

Some of your key responsibilities include:  

• Core Java development and Web applications with Spring and Angular

• Participate with requirements analysis

• Work with deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes

• Debugging and existing application support

• Working in distributed teams with using Agile Frameworks (Kanban/Scrum)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science/engineering or last year of university degree

• Good analytical skills

• At least 1+ years of hands-on Java development experience (own projects and git repository are also acceptable)

• Good knowledge of Java (8+)

• Experience with Spring Framework

• Experience with JPA/Hibernate

• Experience with SQL/NoSQL
