Team overview

Data Operations department is seeking to appoint new lead manager to coordinate work for variety night shift teams. Current scope would include independent oversee of pricing and security master teams servicing NAM clients across a range of Fund Accounting platforms. This scope may grow in future with additional night shift teams.
 

Your role:

  • Provides oversight for multiple teams of employees responsible for conducting security pricing, security setup and maintenance.
  • Manage independently the performance of teams and sets area priorities.
  • Manage independently relationships with assigned clients and resolves any escalated issues related to her/his teams.
  • Provides guidance to teams managed to ensure that accounting records are maintained in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Resolves escalated issues from team members.
  • Provides guidance to teams on implementation of new policies to follow regulations.
  • Being a point of contact for Client escalations.
  • Communicates reports and accounting intricacies to clients.
  • Recruits, directs, motivates, and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth, and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
  • Leads working relationships with auditors and clients to make changes to financial reports and ensure they accurately depict fund performance.
  • Contributes to the achievement of team objectives 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of total work experience in finance.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience at managerial position.
  • Experience in operations and/or client service will be advantage
  • Financial education and certifications will be advantage
