For our Client from the biotechnology sector, we are looking for candidates for the position of
GL Team Leader
GL Team Leader

Responsibilities:
- managing GL team and monitoring daily operations according to the service level agreements as well as providing advice on incident resolution, identifying process, improvement opportunities,
- lead functional service delivery for end to end GL Revenue Recognition processes: review, maintenance and validation of status of orders process, ensuring proper documentation in place (RRC), follow up on deferred revenue, posting BS and P&L Reclasses, performance of balance sheet account reconciliations in order to confirm the accuracy and validity of the process,
- monthly reporting to Corporate and performing SOX controls,
- performing monthly statistical reports, supporting audits and other business queries,
- process accountability for Revenue Recognition,
- proactively mitigating risks and resolving escalated service incidents,
- liaise in process quality reviews and root cause analysis performed by corporate BPO to initiate continuous improvement initiatives,
- analyses and reviews service performance,
- liaise with other managers on operational execution and CIP,
- cooperate on people management with BSC HR Director Qualifications.
Requirements:
- minimum 1,5 years of GL team management experience,
- Bachelors or Master Degree in Accounting or equivalent,
- fluent in English (written and oral), other foreign languages would be an asset,
- very good knowledge of SAP ERP,
- former experience with US GAAP revenue preferred,
- effectively communicate vision, strategy, goals and progress,
- develops people; provides challenging assignments and coaching,
- organizational skills, open minded and receptive to change.
