The Global Delivery Centre in Wroclaw is a growing location, predominately providing support services to BNY Mellon entities in the areas of fund accounting and investment operations.

 

Department/Team overview

The Poland Fund Administration delivers a variety of services to Regulators, clients & tax authorities on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Services include reporting to the Central Bank regulators, Investment Trust reporting & Investor tax reporting.

The working hours in the team are standard with some flexibility on shift work in conjunction with the hybrid model. Hours range between 08:00am to 19:00pm depending on the team.

 

Your role

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented “Dutch Regulatory Reporting – Lead Representative to join our team in Wroclaw. As “Lead Representative” you will be responsible for the preparation of regulatory returns and various type of reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. You will liaise with the oversight team in Breda responsible for filing returns directly with the Dutch Central Bank. This role is part of a migration of work coming into Poland from Breda. As a result, you will be participating in trainings and transitioning work to the Poland team. As part of your role you are required to ensure all documentation and knowledge is successfully transferred to your team. You will work closely with the team manager, project manager and Breda team as part of this exciting opportunity.

As a successful candidate you will be given opportunity to acquire and develop knowledge from related fields:

  • Prepare and review of reports completed by the team ensuring timely and accurate delivery to agreed timetables and SLA standards and ensure compliance with appropriate accounting standards
  • Provide direct support to stakeholders to resolve complex queries
  • Support and maintain tools and templates used within the team
  • Seek ways to automate the processes in order to eliminate manual work components
  • Perform periodical UDT testing and reviews
  • Liaise with internal and external parties relevant to team deliverables
  • Perform secondary quality control reviews of reports completed by the team
  • Ensure effective recording and resolution of external / internal queries
  • Be aware of the risks of team operations and deliverables and assist in their management ensuring required controls maintained and compliance with procedures
  • Where appropriate or required deputise for team manager and provide cover and support for other functions
  • Other project work and ad-hoc tasks as required

 

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance or Economy or other appropriate discipline
  • Fluent English spoken and written (min. B2 level)
  • Dutch would be desirable but not required for the role
  • Good problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Very Good knowledge of MS Office
