Senior Manager Service Assurance

The Senior Manager Service Assurance role is a key position for the Business Operations & Analytics team and entails comprehensive financial & vendor management skills across multiple technology domains (Enterprise Data and Analytics, End User Services, Enterprise Applications Platforms, Hosting Services, and Identity and Access Management). The Senior Manager Service Assurance role we are recruiting for is to provide support to Hosting & Connectivity Services teams.

In this role you will...

• Financial Management - Ensure that the Hosting/Connectivity function is effectively managing their finances against agreed budgets and appropriately planning for changes in costs i.e. increases in spend or applications savings initiatives. Work closely with the wider finance community to address any issues, cross charging, opex / capex requests etc.

• Vendor Management – Ensure that key vendors utilized within Hosting/Connectivity are managed appropriately. This will entail ensuring vendors have a regular structured strategy & performance reviews, commercials are aligned with agreed contracts and any related risks, issues, escalations etc. are handled in accordance within effective frameworks.

• Team Management - Ensure effective capabilities development (covering technical, process, delivery and management skills) is in place resulting in talents identification and succession planning.

• Stakeholder management - The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate ability to effectively communicate with top management, presenting data analysis in an executive level summary that enables educated decision making. He/she must be strong negotiator to be able to effectively manage GSK vendors relationship.

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

• Strong written and oral communication skills (English)

• Demonstrable experience managing and executing finance plans and budgets, commercial models and providing analysis

• Demonstrable experience in vendor management. Strong communication/negotiation skills

• Demonstrable ability to create executive level presentations, ability to influence others

• At least 8 years of job-related experience

• Experience in Agile ways of working/FinOps?

• Degree in Business, Finance or IT

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and Data analytics tools

• Expertise in ERP finance systems
