We are passionate about identifying new ways to leverage tones of operational data to provide C-level insights that help Energy companies make strategic decisions. Join our team as a Downstream Business Intelligence Analyst/Consultant and take part in projects that turn around the way Downstream industry leverages its data to drive growth.

Our Consultants have excellent communication skills (English and at least one other language) with the ability to explain complicated things simply. We measure our success by building a relationship with a client, both business and IT. The most experienced talents will be responsible to lead and manage the projects, financials, the relationship with the client and cooperate with our delivery centers across the globe.

Your responsibilities

  • Working with top Energy companies (Accenture clients) around the world designing and implementing analytical solutions that provide actionable insights across Downstream value chain with regards to the following key processes: Oil and feedstock supply, Oil and product trading, Refining, Product supply and distribution, Fuel retail, eMobility

  • Identifying data sources in multiple IT systems, dependencies between them and synthetize them into operational and C-suite insights.

  • Working creatively on enriching existing reporting and Business Intelligence solutions with non-obvious data points that bring financial value for clients.

  • Cooperating with global teams with differentiated skillset across business and IT domains.

  • Providing recommendations towards optimizing Downstream operating models based on data analysis and drive change focused on improving financial performance of our clients.

  • Learning from more experienced colleagues and share your knowledge across the team to support growth of CN Energy Downstream practice in Poland.

Our requirements

  • At least 2 years of professional experience.

  • Master’s degree in relevant technical or business discipline.

  • Understanding of data modelling concepts and ETL process (Extract, Transform, Load).

  • Good working knowledge of at least one reporting and visualization technology (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Qlik View).

  • Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, Oracle, etc.) will be considered an asset.

  • Experience in transformation and IT implementation projects will be considered an asset.

Working conditions

  • Employment contract (Umowa o pracę)
  • Headquarter in Warsaw with offices in Cracow, Wroclaw or Lodz.
  • Due to COVID-19 global situation we are delivering our work remotely. Knowing that our Capability Network model is based on traveling and serving advisory working closely with our Clients, willingness and ability to work at client’s locations mostly across Europe, but also other locations, for short or long term is still required if pandemic situation will change.
