What we do/Team overview:

The Chief Operating Officer and its teams are responsible for building, managing, and supporting execution of Asset Servicing & Digital’s strategy, business performance, regulatory readiness and response, pricing, billing, and business resiliency.  This dynamic and inter-disciplinary group works across Asset Servicing & Digital sub-functions to deliver these capabilities within business units, with the goal of delivering cohesive, unified solutions that increase profitability, efficiency, and scale while minimizing business and operational risk.  The COO and team are responsible for continually optimizing programs by working with professionals across BNY Mellon while monitoring industry best in class standards and innovations.

What we seek:

The Business Management team within the COO is looking to hire a dynamic, self-motivated individual to provide business management support the Client Service Delivery organization within the Asset Servicing business.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages the overall Client Service Delivery people agenda and tracking of talent management priorities
  • Responsible to produce a monthly global team newsletter as well as other ad-hoc employee communications
  • Supports management offsite planning sessions including coordination of agenda and materials
  • Owns the management and coordination of quarterly Townhalls and other “All Hands” sessions
  • Works in partnership with the Client Service Delivery management team to understand employee engagement scores and develop action plans to resolve themes or issues
  • Supports the HR Business Partner in talent management exercises and develops a thorough understanding of key metrics like attrition, diversity, and inclusion
  • Manages the tracking of people related programs and collaboration with the ASD People Engagement strategy team

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related area
  • 7-10 years of experience in financial services, business management or related function
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Good judgement, maturity, and poise to enable interaction/influencing of senior management
  • Thoughtful analytical skills; able to develop, clearly present and draw conclusions
  • Self-starter: ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Disciplined approach to managing processes and controls
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and effective under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong project management and presentation skills
