Junior Pension Actuary
Who we're looking for
Required professional background and skills:
- After or during gaining the university degree in Actuarial Science, Quantitative Finance / Mathematics, Economics or related,
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills,
- Creativity and analytical thinking to solve complex problems,
- Team player with a flexible working style,
- Very good skills in MS Office (with VBA), with emphasis on Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
We consider as an advantage:
- Candidates would ideally have exposure to one or more of statistical models, actuarial mathematics models, experience in either life or non-life insurance,
- Basic knowledge of German language,
- Programming skills (VBA, C++, R, Python) as well as exposure to actuarial software (Earnix, Prophet, Addactis etc.) will be an asset.
Your future role
Our growing actuarial team is looking for new colleagues to join the projects who will:
- Support Deloitte’s colleagues with their day-to-day work,
- Actively contribute to a development of new analytical team within actuarial practice,
- Prepare actuarial calculations and databases analyses,
- Take part in a preparation of marketing materials and proposals,
- Develop valuation models in VBA or other software,
- Write reports and prepare presentations,
- Work with other Deloitte’s colleagues from Polish as well as international offices.
