Automation QA Engineer
Who we're looking for
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience in testing IT systems
- Experience in test automation using Java, Python or JavaScript
- Experience in UI test automation (e.g. Cypress.io, Selenium, Katalon) and backend test automation (SOAP/REST API)
- Familiarity with data exchange languages (XML, JSON, CSV) and DevOps best practices (Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery)
- Basic knowledge of design/implementation of non-functional tests (security, performance, volume, usability, load, stress, etc)
- Ability to design test automation architecture
- Ability to guide and support other test automation engineer
- Experience with database concepts and query languages (SQL)
- Experience with Source Code Management tools like Git/SVN
- Experience with creating a test strategy, an exit criterion and a test plan
- Experience of reporting test metrics (test coverage/effectiveness/distribution per feature/etc)
- Tax knowledge is a plus
Job Description:
- Based on analysis of functional, nonfunctional, and technical requirements define testing strategy
- Define test scenarios
- Creating automated tests based on test scenarios
- Test our application manually and with use of automations
- Tests execution, analyzing results and submitting corresponding defects/tasks for developers
- Be part of development team and cooperate in scrum team in every stage of product development
- Be involved into product development and oversee quality of developed product
About the team
We are looking for new colleagues to joint our team which works on web applications that help external clients manage tax matters and on applications for internal employees in our company. We are looking for an experienced tester with hands on experience with manual testing, writing test automation and generally defining testing strategies. Although Deloitte is a large company with a long history and a wide background, our team acts as a small start-up with an agile approach to development, close cooperation with end users and the freedom to do things your way.
