Your responsibilities


Job Purpose:

  • To coordinate deliveries of fuel in road tankers; liaise with drivers, hauliers, customers and planning teams to execute and amend loading plans, process customer enquiries and urgent orders.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Act as a primary contact point for the hauliers to advise truck drivers of necessary changes to plan
  • Manage changes and adjustments to the loading plan, i.e. process changes in SAP: product left on board, plant/depot change, load quantity changes, compartment changes, trip sequence change, vehicle change, orders scheduled not delivered
  • Receive, create and process urgent orders for a timely and accurate delivery
  • Handle customer enquiries to change/amend orders
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints
  • Ensure documentation and filing is accurate, up to date and accessible

Special Challenges:

  • Shift working pattern: Continuously rotating shift system to provide 24-hour support in 3 x 8 hr shifts
  • Respond to emergency issues arising from delivery/system constraints

Our requirements


Qualification required

  • University degree or Undergraduates welcome (alternatively secondary education with equivalent of 1-3 years experience in logistics)  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills – fluency or B2 in German and min. B1 in English
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Problem solving and proactive attitude
  • Strong team player
  • Excellent time management skills & planning capabilities

Optional:

  • Previous Logistics /Distribution /Customer Service experience
  • Road Delivery Operations planning and execution experience
  • Knowledge of SAP or transport planning systems
  • Familiarity with ADR, driver’s hours regulations
