Your responsibilities


This is a high-profile global position integrating a combination of the following roles & responsibilities for the individual that would like to pursue development assignment in Contracting & Procurement (CP), to deliver commercial outcome and to support the change management for the respective CP Operations team in both commercial and operational excellence: 

  • Sourcing Lead for selected Category, including Pre and Post Award Contract Management to manage regional, global tail spend, operational & tactical contracts, EFAs, call-off agreements, category sourcing & post award contract management.

  • Project Management to drive and lead Continuous Improvement projects to the performance in the space of Operational Excellence in respective regions & globally for Global Lubes and Sectors, including building CI culture within our global team

  • Excellence activity consists of business planning cycle & helps to monitor overall CP Ops Global Lubes and Sectors team performance to deliver TQ performance. Expect to be accountable for early engagement within CP Downstream teams on integrated planning & performance framework, sharing best practices, identification of the gaps and inefficiencies, development of the recommendations to improve performance, effective communication of improvement plans and progress status as part of overall CP’s journey to promote “Zero Waste” culture, and supports efficient, pragmatic and consistent implementation of agreed initiatives across CP Ops community

  • Change & Engage lead for entire Global Lubes and Sectors team who drives Leadership strategy within the Leadership Team and helps vision and strategy building for the Community, long-term.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • As an active member of the CP Ops Global Lubes & Sectors Leadership Team, build highly collaborative relationships, ensuring that CP strategies and processes are fully aligned with the business objectives and that the team’s bottom-line contribution (Cost Improvements) are fully reflected in Business Plans

  • Consistently drive operational excellence, business understanding and business value mindset

  • Ensure a strong connect across the E2E CP organisation, the CP Ops teams and the wider global CP organization, to ensure joint sharing and leverage of best practices. Ensure this connection is effective at all levels in the organisation

  • Drive & Manage Agenda of Cadence Meeting at various levels of stakeholder interfaces

  • Support Reporting and Analysis for CP Ops Global Lubes & Sectors on key themes & topics, eg HSSE, Annual business planning efforts, Quarterly reporting of CP Cost improvement initiatives

  • Works closely and in coordination with other CP Interfaces to ensure visibility on data available and translate such data to effective performance management tools

  • Works with various customers, and stakeholders to execute Category Management commercial work plans, assuring supply of contracts at market competitive terms and conditions, as well as delivering value through Bottom Line Impacts for local, regional or global scope

  • Contracting and procuring services as well as developing and managing local, regional or global agreements under the direction of the Procurement Managers / Senior Procurement Managers as appropriate

  • Applying leading edge supply chain management techniques

  • Applying supply/value chain analyses and modelling

Our requirements


KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Solid CP skills (3-5 years), ideally within Category Management
  • Deal Making practitioner – record of strong savings delivery
  • Strong Interpersonal skills – will play People Integrator role among our global community
  • High-energy individual with entrepreneurial mindset, interested in growing his/her Leadership skills
  • Commercial savvy, business acumen, ability to work on numerous fronts across several initiatives, focused on projects/targets delivery
  • Strong business partnering skills
  • University degree or equivalent required
  • Proficiency in English
