The Team Leader will lead the team of six payroll specialists in five different locations, taking care of day-to-day operations of twenty countries in scope. The person is going to be responsible for continuing establishing the Payroll Team, global processes and standardization, vendor management and executions of the medium size projects.

This is a fixed-term contract role.

What will you do:

• Work with the payroll operators across the group to ensure that we have well-designed and documented payroll processes
• Establish the process for payroll operators to cover each other's roles effectively
• Manage relationships with payroll vendors
• Provide payroll support to the payroll operators across the group and fill in for staff absences
• Drive continuous improvement of payrolls across the group
• Take responsibility and be the primary point of contact for internal and external payroll audits, vendor management and risk
• Work with Finance to ensure that the payroll interface with Finance is effective and efficient

• Has experience in People Management
• Has experience in outsourced payroll
• Has experience in Workday (as an asset)
• Has great communication skills
• Uses English fluently
• Has experience in establishing new ways of working and standardizing the processes and procedures
• Is pro-active and keen on taking the challenges
• Has experience in project management
