Our ITSCM Team develops and executes the business continuity and disaster recovery end-to-end programme for a company that provides global technology data centre, cloud, infrastructure, and application services to PwC Firms across 158 countries. You will be responsible for supporting the ITSCo BC programme, assisting with risk management and Business Impact Analysis (BIA), and administering ITSCo Business Continuity Management tools. Disaster Recovery Senior Analyst

(Warsaw/ Krakow/ remotely from PL)

The Role

The BC/DR Senior Analyst is responsible for execution of the ITSCo BC programme, including: BC/DR tool system administration, developing plan, exercise, and other templates, developing dashboards and reports, supporting compliance requirements, and assisting with system and ITSCM programme execution and improvements. This role reports to the leader of the ITSCM Business Resilience Manager and manages BC/DR teams as needed.

As Senior Analyst, you help to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Core responsibilities and  PwC Professional skills for this level include but are not limited to:

  • Communicate with business counterparts and evaluate existing resilience risk framework against business requirements
  • Develop BC/DR processes, procedures, business impact analysis, plans, status reports, and other other documentation so that they are clear, correct, complete, and consistent with each other
  • Administer BC/DR applications and tools
  • Recommend changes to the existing resilience risk framework, including creation of content detailing changes and rationale
  • Set and reevaluate governance surrounding the maintenance of the resilience risk framework, including cadence for reviewing, decisioning process, and decision rights
  • Review existing metrics for applicability to resilience risk, accuracy, ease of tracking and recommend changes
  • Develop and maintain risk assessment workflows and methodologies for calculating technology resilience risk
  • Develop training material for service owners and conduct training on use of the risk framework
  • Report out on analyzed risk to business and technology leaders
  • Develop content to support potential organizational initiatives needed to address identified risk 
  • Compile feedback from all parts of the risk assessment life cycle, including the resilience framework, tooling workflows, and report out channels
  • Implement, maintain and support DR tooling
  • Verify and validate data used for BC/DR activities
  • Maintain, support and train stakeholders on the BCM Framework

The Candidate

  • Proficient in ServiceNow with experience with Snow BCM module highly preferred
  • Knowledgeable of PwC’s global infrastructure landscape
  • Knowledgeable of information security, resilience, and disaster recovery
  • Has experience with various cloud platforms and and blueprints including high availability environments
  • Knowledgeable of emerging infrastructure technologies
  • Understands cost modeling, and financial impact of architecture alternatives
  • Understands how to connect technology strategy to business strategy

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Degree Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Preferred Fields of Study: Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, Emergency Management
  • Certification(s) Preferred: CBCP, FBCI

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Minimum Degree Required: High School
  • Preferred Fields of Study: Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, Emergency Management
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 3 year(s) of relevant experience delivering business continuity and disaster recovery programmes
