Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for talented individuals for Senior Statutory Compliance Specialist position for an intensively growing Statutory Compliance Services Team, acting globally among ABB Group. As a Senior Statutory Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for driving excellence into ABB statutory reporting end-to-end process. The work model for the role is: hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Playing an active role in financial statements preparation and audit processes for non-complex reporting units
• Driving and supporting audit process by scheduling and conducting planning and status meetings and project managing the audit process
• Collaborating with all stakeholders involved in audit and financial statements preparation processes in respect of issues identified
• Identifying the statutory adjustments and preparing a bridge to statutory financial statements for non complex reporting units

Qualifications for the role:

• You have at least 2 years of experience in accounting /auditing or similar finance function, ideally in a large international industrial group
• Knowledge of regulations and guidelines for IFRS would be an asset
• You present excellent project management and organization skills
• You possess advanced Excel skills, experience with SAP is nice to have
• Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or related areas
• You are at ease communicating in English
• You hold current VISA/work permit valid in Poland
