Senior Analyst - Credit Assessment- German Speaker
Work location: Shell Energy Campus, Czerwone Maki 85

 


Job description:
Purpose: Risk assessment of new and existing customers and analysis of the overall credit exposure in accordance with Global Credit Policy. Accountabilities: Provide assessment of a customer credit risk and recommend terms of credit that are consistent with the Global Credit Policy. Responsible for providing authorised approval for continuing deliveries to customers in case of overdue or credit limit exceedings. Take and justify credit decisions. Collect and analyze available customer information: commercial and financial assessment. Manage Securities: request and follow up, negotiate the conditions with Sales and customer. Process Debitex tasks in an accurate and timely manner. Customer Service: Recive and process credit enquiry or complaint from the customer, investigate & resolve the enquiry and complaint. Reconcile complex accounts. Ensure performance metrics are met. Participate in improvement projects. Communicate with internal and external customer in a professional, assertive and efficient manner.



Requirements:

Qualifications: Degree in Finance/ Accounting.
Professional Experience: min 3 years in finance area (including Credit Assessment and Financial Assessment).
Experience in customer facing roles will be an asset (e.g. in Debt Chasing, Cash Allocation, CSC Front Office, Accounts Payable Helpdesk).
Languages: German language at min. C1 level is a must; English at B1/ B2 level required.
Systems and tools: Good working knowledge of  ERP systems and MS Office tools required.
Soft skills: positively engages with others to improve business processes and performance where necessary, strong interpersonal and communication skills, persuasive and firm in discussions (internal and external), focused on results, team-player, with strong analytical skills and strong problem solving skills, empathetic, assertive and decisive. The role requires a strong team player with the ability to work (esp take credit decisions) under time pressure, while still maintaining high standards of  work.
Key Competences: Masteryl in Credit Assessment, Skill in Financial Assessment, Skill in Strategic Credit Focus, Knowledge in Collecting Customer Debt and Allocating Receipts,  Skill in Relationship Building and in Communication, Skill in Problem Solving, Negotiating and Influencing.
