Because of increase in our business activities in Poland we are looking to enforce our team with an AP (Accounts Payable) Accountant:

Function:

• Review, verify & register purchase invoices, cost invoices, staff expense reports, … into ERP (Microsoft Dynamics);
• Posting of purchase invoices into ERP (Microsoft Dynamics) on a daily basis;
• Responsible for ensuring that supplier invoices are efficiently processed in Microsoft Dynamics, including timely resolution of blocked vendor invoice issues;
• Work closely with external vendors and internal colleagues to respond to inquiries and resolve invoice discrepancies (blocked supplier invoices).. Reconcile accounts payable transactions (open vendor lines, supplier statement reconciliation, …);
• Dealing with other purchase invoice enquiries from suppliers (reminders handling);
• Maintain vendor files;
• Provide supporting documentation for audits;
• Guarantee VAT compliancy (domestic, EU & export / import) posting purchase / sales invoices and align frequently with HQ function on this topic;
• To ensure timely and accurate invoicing of GIS customers. To ensure collection of all sales invoices and manage all related litigation files;
• To ensure timely and accurate financial administration and monthly closing process AP & AR.

Profile :

• Master degree in Economics or equivalent trough expertise;
• Working experience in an international culture;
• Organizational talent;
• Result oriented person;
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable & treasury domain trough education and / or equivalent trough expertise;
• Knowledge of general accounting procedures;
• Knowledge ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics);
• Sufficient English language skills are mandatory;
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
• Strong interpersonal & communications skills to interact effectively with local colleagues in shared service center(s) and Headquarters colleagues as well as external clients & vendors;
• Open minded attitude;
• Integrity and honesty.
