Due Diligence Screening Analyst (KYC) - Arabic Speaker

Arabic Language is required for this role.
The post holder is to perform timely and fit-for-purpose integrity due diligence reviews on suppliers, contractors, commercial partners, agents, intermediaries and others, in a way that meets Shellâs internal and external ethics & compliance obligations. The reviews are non-Financial risk assessments using public access and licenced information sources.
These obligations include the Shell General Business Principles, Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Trade Controls and Code of Conduct requirements, and, numerous national and supra-national statutory regulations, enforcement agencies guidelines, accepted best-practice and financial & reputational risk-reduction and mitigation.
Accountabilities:
- Ensure that every screening search request assigned to you is performed to specified quality standards and within agreed timescales.
- Undertake desktop research using a combination of publicaly available and commercially licensed IT tools and data sources.
- Collate the results of your search in the specified manner and retain evidence as required.
- Analyse and interpret your results to come to a conclusion that gives direction, advice and guidance to the search requester.
- Communicate with all stakeholders in a precise and concise manner consistent with the requirements of a Most Confidential service.
- Take responsibility for more complex queries which are either escalated or delegated to you.
- Adhere to your own, and actively support the team in their adherence to GRM (Group Records Management), TRIM and email communication standards.
- Become a Subject Matter Expert for one or more of the sub-processes, (for a specified geographic region or cohort of Shell companies/businesses/functions), liaising with a range of stakeholders to resolve issues, providing training and guidance where required.
- Contribute to and participate in specific projects (when required).

Requirements:
- Fluency in Arabic language to a business-professional standard, is required for this role.
- Fluency in English
- Educated to university degree, advanced diploma or equivalent, in Finance, Commerce, Business and/or Legal -- - Studies, or similar, with at least 3 years relevant working experience.
- Excellent formal written and oral communication skills are essential.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas will be beneficial:

Successfully planning and conducting research, collating and analysing results, forming justifiable conclusions and presenting results in a formal written format (typical examples would include a university, college or professional institute dissertation or a major workplace research assignment).

Payments, Credit Control, Vendor and /or Customer Master Data processes

Compliance, Assurance, control of Payments, Risk or Credit Management, especially if with âKnow Your Customerâ experience in a regulated industry (e.g. banking).

Using credit analysis tools (e.g. Dun & Bradstreet) and/or market intelligence tools (e.g. Dow Jones).
