For our Client, a leading multi-line insurer headquartered in Switzerland, which opened a shared service center for Finance in Krakow, we are now looking for a professional, who is able to take a position of Finance Accounting and Reporting Specialist. The company is offering great opportunity to develop your carrier path in accounting in the international environment and be important part of the international team.

Finance Accounting and Reporting Specialist will calculate and account reconciliation (e.g. provisions, calculate deferred income tax, accruals, pre-payments), provide group and external reporting (BS, P&L, notes to financial statement - according to IFRS, Irish GAAP and Solvency regulations), perform various closing activities. The Finance Accounting and Reporting Specialist will be responsible for intercompany reconciliation and postings, support or collaborate in various projects such as analysis and implementation of Group Chart of Accounts changes. You will also provide ongoing contact with various stakeholders e.g. FAR Controllers, BU accountants, actuaries, Consolidation, execute and review controls within SOX framework. 

The Ideal Candidate should have university degree in finance and accounting/economy/business administration, at least 2 years of practical accounting experience in GL, reporting, data analysis area. Professional requirements include analytical skills, passion for detail, reliability, “can do” attitude, goals driven, flexibility, good written and oral communication skills in English.
